The healthiest one in the family and needles

Today, I am the healthiest one in the household as all my boys have fevers, coughs and sore throats.  I was not going to miss the church meal where I don’t have to cook once a month so off I went by myself leaving them all spluttering into their hankies.  Our church is such a great community group and many people were asking how I am and what is happening.  One of the ladies is a pharmacist and gave me some great advice about the choice of whether to take beta interferon, she advised to weigh up if effects outweigh the symptoms and I won’t know this until I take the drugs what it will do.  Interesting.  Also I have a great fear of needles so one of the other ladies said she could help out if I need.  But when I got home and checked my MS forum which I had posted my fears on, I discovered you can get auto injectors so I can ask the MS nurse about this, you don’t even see the needle apparently.  This might be a good option for me.  Anyway church meal was chicken casserole and rice it was packed with, tomatoes, celery, carrots and onions followed by Apple crumble and custard.  AND I didn’t have to cook it myself!  I did help with the washing up though and by the end had to literally prop myself up by the counter or I would have collapsed with dizziness.  Needless to say I got a lift home!  People are beginning to notice now that there is something wrong, I popped out during the service and when I returned I spoke to a friend I hadn’t seen in a while and she commented that I didn’t look like I was walking well.  So much for me doing a 5km on 7th February!  I hope I will be ok but think my brainwave I had a few weeks ago to do a marathon is out!
